A few years back, I created the Crazy Survey. As I received people's results from this largely non-scientific survey, I laughed, I cried and I pondered why there were so many crazy people in the world.
Actually, that's not true. I mainly wondered if anyone thought the survey could possibly uncover the secrets of humanity's desire to be unique, yet be similar enough to others to live in society. Up until now, I would have to say the answer has been a resounding no.

In most businesses, a huge key to success is efficiency. This can be brought about in a variety of ways, including focusing on the task at hand, avoiding duplication of work and, above all, locking all workers in their offices so they cannot escape for home.

Sure, one vote may not mean much. But if everyone used the same philosophy, no one would vote, except perhaps the candidates and a few random people who vote Mickey Mouse every year. While it would be nice to have streets made out of cheese, do you really want a mouse running the house?
In case you missed it, the National Federation of the Blind recently won a reasonably large lawsuit against Target, claiming that Target.com did not meet minimal standards for people using screen access technology. While I normally side with the little guy over big corporations, there are a number of ridiculous things involved with this ruling, so I'll try to point out each one individually.
I've finally launched the new BenWoods.com. Yes, it looks a lot like the old one. I upgraded to Drupal 8 (from Drupal 7). I managed to go all of 2019 without writing anything on this site. I hope to write a little more, especially as I launch a new book in the upcoming months. Thanks for reading!
