I recently noticed that Google Books has revamped its search and functionality. While it appears that you still cannot be yelled out by a real-life librarian, it does look as if you can read many books, including "The Developers," via your web browser. Check out the book here.
Nintendo has owned up to the problem with the wrist strap problem. The games firm has announced that it will replace broken straps for its Wii console.
Rejoice! Not that I have a Wii, but I just cannot stand to see broken televisions, windows, dogs, etc.

The new Wii gaming solution hasn't been out for very long, and it appears there are two sides of the coin at the moment. The first side is that people are having a blast making the actual motions needed in certain games. The flip side is that people apparently are breaking numerous appliances using the motion controls.
As you know, I don't have too many things to sell ... just books. But it is the holiday season, so I thought I might try to unload some of "The Developers" stock I have. It has become difficult to sell what I have because of the exclusive contract I have with my distributor. I can no longer sell directly to bookstores or libraries. However, I am allowed to sell to individuals.
I thought the Summer Olympics started Aug. 11, but I visited the official Athens 2004 Olympics site, and it says there are two days until it begins. On the home page, it proceeds to tell me the first soccer (or football outside the U.S.) matches are Aug. 11. How can the Games start before the Olympics start?
Nevertheless, the official site has a lot of options, including a schedule, news, results, biographies and about a billion other things that I left out. I was disappointed, though, at the coverage of synchronized diving.
Sometime on Oct. 12, the 1,000 unique person made it to my website. I wish I would have had sirens sounding, fireworks exploding and music playing, but I didn't. It was too much work to figure out the exact person anyway.
Now, the 1,000 unique person is a little deceiving. From the way the statistics are displayed, a user is unique every day. That means each day I check to make sure what I posted makes sense, it counts me again.
