A few years back, I created the Crazy Survey. As I received people's results from this largely non-scientific survey, I laughed, I cried and I pondered why there were so many crazy people in the world.
Actually, that's not true. I mainly wondered if anyone thought the survey could possibly uncover the secrets of humanity's desire to be unique, yet be similar enough to others to live in society. Up until now, I would have to say the answer has been a resounding no.

All of my columns published during the last four years should be available here. If not, I need to check the lost and found because it's possible one or two ran away. In most businesses, a huge key to success is efficiency. This can be brought about in a variety of ways, including focusing on the task at hand, avoiding duplication of work and, above all, locking all workers in their offices so they cannot escape for home.
While I've heard possible book groups picking up "The Developers," I just recently found out that one is taking the next step and actually reading it. The Crawfordsville (Ind.) Public Library is in the process of reading the novel, and the book discussion is set for 6:30 p.m. Dec. 4. I will join the group via audio chat to discuss the book and anything other questions I can answer, at least I hope so!

I haven't been able to find an exact history on parking garages, but I found all the information I ever wanted to know about them, and some that I didn't want to know anyway.
I finally had time to update the website design for my new narrative nonfiction humor novel, "Polos to Ties." I just wanted to make it a little more user-friendly so that people would be able to find out more about the book. I'm looking into both agents and publishers at the current time, and I'm expecting to make a decision sometime in the near future. Stay turned!
I had expected this note would give you an exact date, preferably in December, to announce the launch of "Corporate Ties." Unfortunately, it will have to wait a bit longer. I've been slightly busier this fall than anticipated … we purchased a house, we're preparing for a baby in March, among other things. The good news is that once I have a decent block of time to devote to the book, I should be able to finish it.
Until then, here's a new excerpt from the book.
The race is on for the first millennium baby. Some experts believe the race should start sometime next week. Every year, the first birth is always an interesting event. Think of the accolades the first-born 2000 baby will receive.
