X Marks the spot
So X in DC went really well. I had a blast illustrating to the theme. There was a really good number of people there, and a diverse group of people making various different things. I think everyone did a really good job. I performed rather well, despite the crowd … and drinks.
Anyway, here is the finished piece that I did. Check it out, I hope you like it. Thanks to X for letting me join in the fun. I hope to be back sometime!

Con Recap
Comic con went really well! I sold about 35 of my comics, very unexpected. People seemed to be very receptive of it. I drew a bunch of (really bad) sketches. To anyone who got one… I’m sorry… I’ll do better next time.
Overall, people seemed pretty pleased with my comic and stickers. Lots of smiles and laughs, which is all I could ask for, really. Makes me kind of want to keep going with this instruction manual comic thing… STAY TUNED.

Destination: Comic-Con
Baltimore! This weekend I will be at Baltimore Comic-Con at a table in artist alley. I’ll be co-displaying with a friend and co-worker, Brad Samuelson, and his brother, who run Oddnik Comics. Also there with us will be Ben Woods, author of The Developers. I’ll be with stickers, as well as a brand new mini-comic How to Fight an Octopus. Be sure to come check it out, it’s sure to be very fun!

OMG Live Blogging!
So I’m currently AT flash forward. live blogging for the win! The WiFi in here is really really spotty, so this is probably going to be my only post. It’s been pretty fun so far, San Fran is a beautiful city. The convention hall is pretty awesome too. The keynote is in about fifteen minutes. They have a pretty sweet computer lounge downstairs, I might sneak in there every so often to throw some stuff up. Also, Mike Gong says hi.
