IDs chipped at Texas schools

Oct 27, 2012

Sure, you could argue that attending a public school essentially excludes you from having privacy. But is it really necessary to add tracking chips to IDs for San Antonio students?

Better yet, what does this really accomplish? Administrators can access data to determine if kids are not in the classroom ... possibly. I'd think kids would be sly enough to ditch their cards if they were planning something devious. What if kids trade their IDs to confuse Big Brother even further.

This seems like a non-issue to me. Why try to "track" students when they are being tracked academically in too many ways already?

Solving Problems

Check out the latest book in the Caimans at Work series! The caimans’ new store is the talk of the town. But with success comes navigating the speed bumps along the way. Have no fear – Raymond and Damon are always up for the challenge, whether they are finding a recipe, picking the right color, just doing laundry or investigating a peculiar mystery at their favorite place - a party, of course!
