If you cannot believe your email, at least believe this

October 01, 2004 - There's a lot of talk about truth going around these days. Not that it is any different than any other period of mankind's history, at least after truth was invented. It's mildly interesting to imagine how truth started.

"Me kill buffalo! Me eat buffalo!" "No, me kill buffalo! You don't eat buffalo!" "No, me kill buffalo!"

This surely ended with one caveman eating the buffalo, and the other grabbing a Happy Meal at McDonald's.

I think the point I'm trying to make here is the truth is available at the Urban Legends References Pages. I usually end up here when I want to see if a forward a friend has sent is actually real. But there are a lot of categories, including Lost Legends, Wooden Spoons and the Titanic, if you want to peruse the items on your own.

I still have not found out who actually killed the buffalo, though.
